• When forming the list of candidates for the relevant council, the party organization must ensure the representation of at least 30 percent of persons of the same sex in the total number candidates for the relevant council. (Electoral code, article 220)
• For regions, districts, city district councils, and localities of over 10,000 voters: during the formation of unified and territorial electoral lists, the party organization must ensure the presence of men and women (at least two candidates of each gender) in each five places (from the first to the fifth, from the sixth to the tenth, and so on) of each electoral list.
