• Gender parity applies to all (departmental) lists. The lists of candidates, incumbents and substitutes, must alternately be composed of persons of both sexes. (Electoral code, article L232)
• A list which does not include the mandatory information provided for in articles L232 and L243 is not admissible. (Electoral code, article L250)
• All the lists presented (in the municipal elections) must respect gender parity. The lists of candidates, incumbents and substitutes must alternately be composed of persons of both sexes. (Electoral code, article L266)
