• The consecutive number that indicates the position of the candidates for councillors on the list, which is made up of fifty percent (50%) of men or women, located alternately as follows: a woman, a man or a man, a woman; not less than twenty percent (20%) of young citizens under twenty-nine (29) years of age and a minimum of fifteen percent (15%) of representatives of native communities and indigenous peoples of each corresponding province, where exist, as determined by the national elections jury. The criterion of gender parity and alternation must also be verified on the total number of candidates presented by each political organization. (Municipal election law, article 10)
