• At least 20 percent of the candidates nominated by a party or coalition shall be candidates of one sex. (Law on elections, article 29)
• Registration of a candidate shall be refused in the following cases: the requirements for candidates specified in this law have not been met. In case of refusal to register a candidate, he/she may submit his/her request for re-registration together with the required documents to the respective level election committee at least 25 days prior to the polling day.
