• When compiling the list of candidates for city keneshes, political parties are obliged to take into account the representation of people of the same sex not exceeding 70 per cent, and the difference between the number of men and women in the list of candidates nominated by political parties and voter groups should not exceed two positions. (Law on elections of deputies of local keneshes, article 49.7)
• For carrying out elections of deputies of ayylny keneshes, not less than 30 percent of seats of deputies of the ayylny kenesh for women in each ayylny kenesh are reserved. (Law on elections of deputies of local keneshes, article 59-1)
