Legal provisions - Electoral Law
Lower House:
• The number of representatives of three categories: women, people under the age of twenty-nine, and people with disabilities should be at least thirty percent of the total number of people included in it. (Electoral Law, article 89)
• When allocating deputy mandates, the number of representatives of three categories: women, people under the age of twenty-nine, and people with disabilities must make up at least thirty percent of the total number of deputy mandates received by the party.(Electoral Law, article 97)
• Only one list from one political party is allowed for registration in a territorial electoral district, in which the number of women and persons under the age of twenty-nine must be at least thirty percent of the total number of persons included in it. (Electoral Law, article 104)
• If a political party violated the rules for submitting a party list, failed to submit the documents required for registration, or otherwise violated this Constitutional Law, the Central Electoral Commission shall refuse to register the party list or cancel the decision on its registration. (Electoral Law, articles 89 and 104)
