Single House:
• The list of nominees for candidates shall contain at least 30% of women’s representation. (Law on General Elections, article 245)
• There shall be a female candidate in every three names. (La w on General Elections, article 246)
• KPU shall verify the completion and validity of the required administrative documents of the nominees for candidates for members of DPR and verify the fulfillment of at least 30% women’s representation. (Law on General Elections, article 248)
• In the case of nominees for candidates as referred to in Article 248 failed to meet the completeness of the required administrative documents, the KPU shall return the administrative documents of the nominees for candidates for members of DPR to the Election Contesting Political Party. (Law on General Elections, article 249).
• Additional note on registering party lists: a political party may be established as an election contestant only should the party management at the central/national chapter consist of at least thirty percent of the organizers being women. (Law on General Elections, article 173 (2e)).
