Legal provisions - Parity Law
Single House:
• In the legislative elections, political parties and / or groups of political parties presenting lists of candidates must include in their lists the quota of 25% of women in eligible positions, or else there will be a sanction of list inadmissibility. (Law establishing the quota system, article 1)
• The quota of women elected to the National Assembly is set at least at 25%. (Law establishing the quota system, article 1)
