Lower House:
• Elections to the Chamber of Deputies are held using a list proportional representation system; each party of coalition list shall contain a minimum 30% and a maximum 70% of for male and female candidacies. (Elections Law, article 10)
• The non-compliance with the quota results in the forwarding of the case to the Regional Electoral Court, the notification of the party, and its subsequent adjustment as required by law. (Elections Law, article 10).
Upper House: --
