Single House:
• One women representative is elected to Parliament per every district or city, on a separate ballot from the general parliamentary members. There are also ten representatives from the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (at least 2 of which must be women); five worker representatives (at least one of which must be a woman); five youth representatives (at least one of which shall be a woman); five disability representatives (at least one of which shall be a woman) and five older persons representatives (at least one of which shall be a woman) in Parliament. (Parliamentary Elections Act 2005, Article 8)
