Articles 10, 75 and 80 of the Constitution state that there must be 30% of women in decision-making organs as well as in the Chamber of Deputies and in the Senate. In addition, Article 75 stipulates that 24 of the 80 seats of the Chamber of Deputies are reserved for women.

• The Chamber of Deputies is composed of 80 Deputies, which includes 24 women elected according to the administrative entities of the country. (Law on Elections, articles 87 and 91)
