Lower House:
• On the list of candidates, the number of women candidates and the number of male candidates each must be at least 35% of the total candidates. (Electoral Code, article 211)
• If the requirement is not met in art. 211 § 3, the commission calls on the person submitting the list to remove it within three days; if the defect is not removed within the deadline, the committee decides to refuse registration of the list in full. (Electoral Code, article 215)
Upper House: --
