Single House:
• For the 2024 Parliamentary elections and the next parliamentary elections until 2028, at least one in every four candidates must be of a different sex. For the 2028 Parliamentary elections and the next parliamentary elections until 2032, at least one in every three candidates must be of a different sex. (Electoral Code, article 203)
• Lists that do not comply are given three days to rectify. If not, they are rejected. (Electoral Code, article 203)
• If an excluded candidate is declared elected, the next same-sex candidate will be elected instead. (Electoral Code, article 203)
