Legal provisions - Parity Law
Single House:
• Any list of candidatures presented by a party during the legislative elections must include at least 30% of candidacies for each sex. (Law on Quotas for Legislative and Local Elections, article 3)
• Lists must alternate in sex. A candidate from one sex must be positioned after a candidate from the other sex for the first 2/3 of the list (Law on Quotas for Legislative and Local Elections, article 4 and 7)
